Hi there, I have only just recently come across your website and find it very interesting, and amazed at what has been going
on.
My wife and I are investors in Totara and DNZ.
Not huge amounts, thank god, but annoying just the same as our local investor Lawrence Rohan recommended these products.
I won’t go on about DNZ but we invested $10K with Totara in April 2008 only for a year as we were saving to visit our daughter
in the UK.
Imagine our surprise when we received a letter from Totara the very next month saying the fund was suspended.
I wrote a letter to Totara complaining that it seems strange you can take investments so close to suspension.
Basically their reply was tough titty read the fine print.
But what I found really galling was our advisor was still getting commisions from the fund.
We also haven’t heard from them since August 2009.
Keep up the good fight.
